A Journey to Concept Art

 Research Class Exercise -Name something you have researched in the past for art, design or media Self-Portrait by Sean McNulty With my research i have found an artist nam ed Sean McNulty, he is and artist that mostly explores cryptids and their design.   -Explain how you researched this.  Home Page "Illustrator Template Wix" As the home page template, I chose the "Illustrator template" which I thought it was the one that my work fitted the most . I l ater changed the colours to a darker tone, not only because it is a reincurring detail, I see often in sites of concept artists but because I fairly enjoy darker tones over brighter ones. Secondly, I filled the home page with a so mewhat recent portrait that I think characterize well my work, it has the style I usually use on my work and it’s the mediu m that I mostly use (Digital Painting).  My finished homepage

  Cryptid Concepts Artists rendition  https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Chupacabra_(artist%27s_rendition).jpg The cryptid that first came to head was the Chupacabra’s. The idea of it always interested to me, however the designs I saw were not that appealing. I love the occult, the idea that a cryptid is just a living weird creature does not appeal as much as the idea of it being a more mysterious force and that being the reason why it is so occult and with no seen records of it. The Chupacabra is a cryptid that has been only imagined because of the tracks it left, usually the dried dead goats.  So i redesigned it with my own ideas, where this misterious force of nature was not only a reaper but a life giver, it balances life between species.
