Major development work
Sketch of the water dog cryptid. In this blog post i will show my work and methods of working on my major project. For this example i used one of the designs i still have to refine which is the water dog cryptic, Dobhar-Chú. The way i go about redesigning this is by making the line art of a pose of idea i like and then i refine it, in this one i was able to throw in some colors to have an idea what colours i would like the design to have. For the design i wanted a slender type of dog so i losely based my design on spanish greyhound for the body and face. With the little information there is about this cryptid i would like to think it is a semi aquatic creature that awaits for terrestrial prey much like crocodiles. So as a tumbnail image i would definitely like to see it on a peeking just above the water.
