Major development work

 Sketch of the water dog cryptid.



In this blog post i will show my work and methods of working on my major project. 
For this example i used one of the designs i still have to refine which is the water dog cryptic, Dobhar-Chú.
The way i go about redesigning this is by making the line art of a pose of idea i like and then i refine it, in this one i was able to throw in some colors to have an idea what colours i would like the design to have.


For the design i wanted a slender type of dog so i losely based my design on spanish greyhound for the body and face. With the little information there is about this cryptid i would like to think it is a semi aquatic creature that awaits for terrestrial prey much like crocodiles. So as a tumbnail image i would definitely like to see it on a peeking just above the water.

    Good development - I am still waiting for a reply from the programme leader at university about Concept and Comic art but I will chase this up

    Okay you have only 12 posts and this is low for week nine - you need add missing work on your clog and shown more research and process of your project

    Good post but you can work on your grammar, and you can always add more pictures to define your character or animal in this case.

    You need to start adding work urgently you should be adding work each week and you are not doing this - please add work

First Cryptid Redesign - Chupa Cabras

The idea of it always interested to me, however the designs I saw were not that appealing. I love the occult, the idea that a cryptid is just a living weird creature does not appeal as much as the idea of it being a more mysterious force and that being the reason why it is so occult and with no seen records of it. The Chupacabra is a cryptid that has been only imagined because of the tracks it left, usually the dried dead goats.  So i redesigned it with my own ideas, where this misterious force of nature was not only a reaper but a life giver, it balances life between species.
