Cryptid Research ( Moth-Man)

Moth man has always been one of my favourite cryptids. A folklore legend of a creature that would appear before catastrophe. The first spotting of this cryptid was in Virginia,1966 where gravediggers claimed to see a human like figure with wings and big eyes. However, there are claims of spotting it everywhere ever since. Before the collapsing of bridges, before someone disappearing and even before 9/11.

People eventually started to relate this creature to U.F.O’s and another otherworldly phenomenon.

Due to the popularity of this myth, books were wrote based on it, movies were made, and a statue of this cryptid was created and placed in West Virginia where it stands up to this day.

By looking at other artists renditions I realised the more it looked like a moth and the less it looked humanoid the more I liked it. Below I will reference some artists renditions.
