 Method 1






For this exercise i tried method 1. I proceeded to close my eyes and envision the plants and fungi i had in my head and tried exploring them further to see what ideas would pop up and two of them stanted out from the others, those being a small fungus that would fly away with the breeze in its maturity so it could release the spores far away. The other was a tree like suculent which would would thrive in more arid areas, it would produce sweet fruits that would attract animals with it sweet scent.
After 10 minutes i opened my eyes and tried to sketch them up.

    Tiago your drawings are very good - they remind me of sci fi movies. You should do some research into 70s/80s low budget horror films - little shop of horrors, triffids. Also when taking pics of work try and zoom in / crop so you don't see whats behind the work in the photo.

First Cryptid Redesign - Chupa Cabras

  Cryptid Concepts Artists rendition  https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Chupacabra_(artist%27s_rendition).jpg The cryptid that first came to head was the Chupacabra’s. The idea of it always interested to me, however the designs I saw were not that appealing. I love the occult, the idea that a cryptid is just a living weird creature does not appeal as much as the idea of it being a more mysterious force and that being the reason why it is so occult and with no seen records of it. The Chupacabra is a cryptid that has been only imagined because of the tracks it left, usually the dried dead goats.  So i redesigned it with my own ideas, where this misterious force of nature was not only a reaper but a life giver, it balances life between species.
