3D Head Self-portrait

As an inspiration i looked into a lot of digital and traditional 3D heads, however the traditional ones definitely captured my attention the most. One idea that stood out was making a shrunken head self-portrait. I searched through the materials i had and found white clay and some natural rope, so i combined these two with some black wash and washed it further with coffee to darken it and to make it smell "old". 

I only reminded myself of taking process pictures when i was almost done with the sculpture.

The shrunken head turned out nice, however it looks less like me then i was hoping it would.
Still it was a fun exercise!
