SMART Objective
For the major project this term i will do 4 multicoloured lino-prints with the "Prehistoric" theme.
Im thinking of create a sequence of prints showing the decay of an entity and the birth of others, the cycle of life. After using the lino-cuts i will cut them and add them in order to create one multilayered sculpture. I have done a good amount of lino-printing, however never did multicoloured , so I'm very curious to see how it goes. I will do some research on the cave painting art style, the colors and the themes, then draw them (traditionally or digital), redraw on the lino plates, carve and print. The deadline will be on the 7th of September, which means i will have about 7 weeks. I am thinking of doing about 1 lino print per week. which would leave me with 3 weeks to complete the 3D piece, perfect everything and frame it.
