Registration on lino printing and the process.
In a project much like mine, when we have multiple prints of multiple colours, registration becomes necessary, as it aligns the previous print with the next one. I had two printing blocks per design, so, therefore i had to create a simple registration "tool" which was composed of a cutting board, hot glue and Kappa line. (See picture below)
With this simple registration method, i used my blue oil paint and started printing the blue parts of my designs, followed by the black outline and details. The brown and red would come after with just a simple painting technique using acrylics (See picture below).
